Before SOPA or PIPA, There Was ACTA

It all makes more sense now. The US co-created ACTA with Japan back in 2006, and ever since, we’ve had bad copyright/censorship legislation which led to PIPA on May 12th. Then the US actually signed the ACTA Treaty Oct 1st and SOPA was drafted by Congress Oct 26th. Global governance erodes national sovereignty. Here is an infographic on protesting ACTA being adopted bt the EU, it’s good things to know, although the EU ultimately signed up this week.
